In 2021, in preparation for the opening of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo, I collaborated with an illustrator to create a mural for the dining room and café. The mural was composed of 16 large panels, designed with the aesthetic of painted tiles. The concept centers on the hidden tasks and processes of the house-elves at Hogwarts, bringing a whimsical and detailed element of the wizarding world to life in the space.
To support the retail team, I was tasked with creating three prints for their Black Family Tapestry (BFT) range: the Black Family Coat of Arms, the Malfoy Family Coat of Arms, and a Detail from the Black Family Tapestry. While the Coat of Arms designs had been created for the Harry Potter films' props and sets, they required refinement before being suitable for print. These prints needed artworking rather than full design work.
For the Detail from the Black Family Tapestry, the original files were unusable, so I recreated the illustration from scratch using ink and a quill, later refining the design digitally to bring it in line with the desired aesthetic
Mystery Postcards S2 – Diagon Alley was a fun and creatively fulfilling project that I led alongside illustrator Alejandro Rodriguez. The product consists of eight illustrated postcards that, when lined up, form a larger, continuous illustration of Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter film series. The design is packed with easter eggs from all the films, encouraging customers to collect the full set and uncover hidden details.
In addition to the postcards, eight of the buildings were selected and turned into standalone prints, allowing the magic of Diagon Alley to be enjoyed in a new format.
For the recent Beetlejuice film, we were tasked with creating two key art posters: one for the immersive experience and another for special events and signings. Alongside a few other juniors, I worked on the special events poster, which required an illustrative approach to capture the film's unique aesthetic.
Drawing inspiration from the original Beetlejuice poster, we chose to embrace an 80s painterly style reminiscent of the Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine. This style helped evoke the playful yet eerie vibe of the film while giving the artwork a distinctive, nostalgic feel.
For over a year at Minalima, I contributed to the immersive Epic Universe experience at Universal Orlando. Having previously worked on the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, Minalima was commissioned to design the Parisian Wizarding World. My work spanned a variety of elements, including blade signs, shop fascias, and building facades, bringing the magical world to life.
